There were three reasons for the lengthy delay in the release of the new chapter: ideas, research, grammar, and real-life stuff. Sometimes you have an idea of what the chapter will be about, and then I need to think about how to make it a bit interesting for the reader. Then there is research stuff, like the character in Danmachi, and writing stuff because it was my first ever book that I wrote. There are still plenty of things I need to learn. Grammar is just being grammar. Real-life stuff sometimes makes me pause my writing, but I am continuing to write, and some time I realize there is boring stuff that needs to change when I edit the chapter. I had no plan to stop writing because I still had this creaky idea that I wanted to put in the book so badly. Every support of Power Stone you gave and every comment, you have my thanks, and you have my apology for the inconvenience.

It was called god slayer magic because it nullified a defense that protects the gods from normal magic because the defense itself had bits of Arcanum power. We know that gods can use their Arcanum power because Hestia and Freya did use that power in small amounts.

Magic, from what I understand in Danmachi, is different in practice. Oberon well understands that he needs to learn his current world's magic to be able to understand and counter his future enemy's magic. Plus, the Elven race in Mushoku Tensei magic and Danmachi Elven magic were different, which made him curious to learn more about their magic. In my humble opinion of course.
After that, she taught me how to optimize the magic spell and how to use the sense of mana to make my magic spell more efficient and effective. It is useful to know how to minimize the use of my mana to cast a spell, thanks to my race. After meeting with the goddess Ereshkigal he opened his mind a bit to trust them. Plus Rudeus knew that if he behave too hostile towards them he just only make himself an enemy of the gods and goddesses.
