Well, he will have a wife if that counts.
Derogatory term for company employees. Cyberpung adapts it from there.
Dwax is a hobo that eats rats. Even if he got to the top he would fail miseribly.
Fixed, thanks.
No, Tengri is the sky god. The great one is more like Asena.
Yes. The grammar assistant must've thought the person is talking to fried people :D
The U.S. bought several trees from Australia which were known to relentlessly produce flammable substances. That resulted in California wildfires. In another example, when I was serving in the military, they let me, a conscript whose background they didn't know, wipe the cryptology room and the general's room. I could’ve been bugging the whole thing if I was someone malicious. What I’m saying is, that such incompetency is not unheard of. Also, this is a jab to novels in which MC finds a hidden dusty manual in the scripture pavilion and rides it to heaven and finds nothing suspicious about the situation. Manuals being trapped is mostly meant to convey the fact that nothing is trustworthy in this environment.
He just acted according to the divination. The way other people cultivate isn’t wrong its just imprecise. Wang Feng was given a set of parameters to work with and needed to innovate within the parameters. The thing he did was only possible because he is a diviner. It is barely anything complicated and it's just a simple trick that happened to be working within the parameters Wang Feng was given.
The dragon in question has never called upon its minions. Since it’s a normal Scripture without the confirmation of the hidden danger, only a capable diviner could pick up on its malicious underpinnings.
Empire gives the sect a huge amount of resources. Shi Hong is willing to overlook some minor things to secure such support.
Because the author is not that smart😂
The universe dies in 40000 years. But before that, a dying universe might get chaotic. It’s a constant looming danger.
Divination in this world is done by examining karmic ties between things. For instance if I touched you and went to touch a man named steve, you would be able to divine Steve tthrough me.
Cultivators need to eat. Matter can’t be created or destroyed easily with the meager amount of spiritual energy cultivators are able to utilize. They need viitamins and minerals just like everybody else.
Because systems and hand-me-down superpowers are suspicious. There is no free meal in this world. Jake Frank conveniently forgot that when he decided to be a judge, jury, and executioner. Even without the understanding of the “old-new universe “ thing, as a power-literate person, he should’ve known that his actions are borne from the exception of special powers and thus unreplicatible. Evil would sprout again the moment he stopped playing whack-a-mole with it. Yet, he has shown no signs of thinking of a governmental structure or bureaucracy that nips these evils in the bud. If everyone else saved people with undead, it would be heroic. Just not Jake Frank. Jake Frank should’ve been suspicious of Wang Feng since the beginning. Wang Feng is just roasting these people for that simple fact. When in power, you have to take out the assumption that you are the good guy from your understanding of the world and replace it with self-doubt about your moral standing so you can stave off getting corrupted by power and money. Sure, Saudi princes and Blackrock executives have been stopped for now but that will only last as long as the undead threat is standing. Since Wang Feng uses nothing but words to torment them, it’s more like Wang Feng is rudely awakening people to what goes on in a multiversal scale cynically, and sarcastically. He has grown bitter because it’s always “billions die if you do, trillions is if you don’t” for a constellation like himself. He sees himself in these men and “torments” himself by proxy.
At first, I was going to base Jake Frank on Alex Jones. That was a bit much for what the story needed to convey. I settled on basing him on Jake Tran. Alex Jones is wrong as much as he is right. Jake Tran does his research well and doesn't introduce insanity to his presentation.
