When in power, you have to take out the assumption that you are the good guy from your understanding of the world and replace it with self-doubt about your moral standing so you can stave off getting corrupted by power and money. Sure, Saudi princes and Blackrock executives have been stopped for now but that will only last as long as the undead threat is standing. Since Wang Feng uses nothing but words to torment them, it’s more like Wang Feng is rudely awakening people to what goes on in a multiversal scale cynically, and sarcastically. He has grown bitter because it’s always “billions die if you do, trillions is if you don’t” for a constellation like himself. He sees himself in these men and “torments” himself by proxy.

At first, I was going to base Jake Frank on Alex Jones. That was a bit much for what the story needed to convey. I settled on basing him on Jake Tran. Alex Jones is wrong as much as he is right. Jake Tran does his research well and doesn't introduce insanity to his presentation.
