I was sitting in a plastic, beige chair that felt remarkably cheap for the afterlife. The floor was covered in stained industrial carpet, and the only light came from a flickering fluorescent bulb that hummed with a headache-inducing frequency. There were no windows, just a single vending machine in the corner that looked like it hadn't been stocked since the nineties.

Maximum is a crazy name.
In my old world, my name was Max. Max Carter. Just a normal guy who liked normal things. I liked reading comics, playing video games, watching anime until three in the morning, and sleeping in on the weekends. I wasn't a soldier. I wasn't a scientist. I definitely wasn't a hero.

Metro man is on Superman’s scale. But we only have one version of metroman.
Not that I was planning to do so because I would not be able to get a planet-worth of distance close to Superman with hostile intent. As fast as I could go, which had actually increased in recent years due to me practicing my powers almost religiously, it still pales in comparison to any number of Superman who can fly from Earth to the Moon in seconds while it would take me at least a couple of days if not weeks.

So I do have a decent ballpark on my current ability limits as Metro Man's speed clocks to around 1936 machs and sits firmly at a city block plus level of strength. Still, thanks to lifting myself up, I would be able to improve since these powers are considered supernatural. Still, it would be slow since they're more biological in nature.

He killed a lot of people to become president btw…
But it is yet another slash on my conscience. At least one that I will have to live with. Even now, a small voice in my head is telling me that I will have to do worse in the future, and I would be remiss not to feel worried.

Thankfully, the self-replenishing supply of NZT I have comes in both syringe and pill form so that I can take either/or, but I'm going to be taking them in pill form as I wouldn't say I like needles. It's part of the reason why I never actually got a tattoo, and I never had the money for one.

Unless the possibility of the formula existing on other sources does exist, that may be an objective of mine for the next five years to hunt down and destroy all evidence of NZT. But from my knowledge of the film, I knew that Vernon wouldn't be contacting Eddie for a couple of days, so for now, I should use it to advance my telekinesis.

People fr thought trump did this on purpose like he was on nzt or something the liberals were desperate tho.
I am not above admitting that I am terrified of meeting a max-level Eddie Mora. It's kind of like when a secret last boss gains Max super intelligence and knows from the beginning of the game that they were the final boss and how to beat every single hero that came to take a strike at him.
