Purgatory isn’t necessarily for bad people it’s more like a purification or temporary punishment. It’s basically like people have done bad but are able to rede themselves.

I don’t think it’s bad. It’s not something that standsout due him being a halfling. It’s not like fish gills either though. Hard to explain if you’ve ever seen a merfolk from some fantasy show think of it like that. Just smaller
