Yeah, I don't think Aqua is evil or a very broken character. The reason he likes Ai is mostly because of Sarina, who he loves. Thus, when Ai dies obv he wants to kill the person but he has not lost that much that he will go insane or have any reason for bloodlust. In addition, the absurdity and bizarreness of the entire scene would probably cause him some shock and temporary unstability.

you see, a lot of mental problems and the problems people have with themselves are caused by insecurities. And these insecurities may be bred from past trauma or experiences. In Ruby's case, she loves Aqua the most out of anyone, you can see it in the oshi no ko comic ( or i inferred it ), he is her only light and dream, but her past experiences with love have caused abandonment issues which bred insecurities within her which both combine to form what she is like. That is what I was going for, the human element of love. brokenness and light through that brokeness.

Oh for minami, I plan to write her in later, along with mem-cho, because it isn't really explicitly hinted or said that these two like Aqua. For Miyako, I am planning to write her in later, but she will not be a part of the harem because she has a husband who she loves, and I dislike NTR because it's unfaithful and pretty much encouraging cheating or cheaters. And while I am not in support of the topics I write about, like polygamous relationships, I enjoy writing them, except for NTR stuff because I think that's a little bit too cruel for both me and the characters. Sorry if I disappointed you.
