The problem with being a god is needing believers. Typically in stories like this there is a harder path that gives more power that doesn’t need believers to provide them energy.

The other guy gave a good explanation. Typically in stories like this that involve inner worlds the rules are influenced by traits of the creator. In the case of our MC his world would probably have something to do with causing various sicknesses to the people he brings into it. On the flip side it could also be a world that makes up for his weaknesses. Such a world might give him the ability to heal teammates. It could also be more abstract. Like using the DNA from his powers he may be able to grow and breed monsters in his unique world. Just depends on what the author decides the MC truly needs.

Just looked it up. Apparently a certain character in Chinese can mean both star and planet. Earth is fairly blue from space and authors like to create planets similar to earth. So realistically it should be blue planet. Translators probably change it to star to make it more mysterious sounding. This allows authors to create a world similar to earth without having to highlight certain real places as that usually causes conflicts within their communities. It also tends to avoid any racism that a lot of Chinese novels seem to have.

I feel like his wolf form prevented some damage. Otherwise why would they say his life force was stronger in an earlier chapter. The skill heals you in exchange for life force so I think it just boosted his already great regeneration in return for cursed power.

I always tell myself reading these fantasy stories that katanas in them must be stronger than the ones now. Especially since he seems to be using an energy blade. I assume things that inhibit pain would also mess up with the feeling in that area. Would probably be hard to move the energy in your body if you can’t feel your body super well.
