When he saw Thanatos' records, he fell out of his chair and broke his neck. His heart even stopped. Then his regen brought him back, and since he learnt it could literally resurrect him, he grew bolder. Then his body was possessed and he got stuck in a cycle of dying and healing
I thought he meant her pulling the strings of her swimsuit, not something political but it seems it was both?
...Amon?
Then that would force Rain to fight alongside the ranks of Sunny, Nephis and Mordret. And Sunny would have to protect her every step out of the way, even if it's not required. It's better for Rain to have a supreme or sacred aspect. Strong enough to be safe but not strong enough to be forced by fate to participate in the frontlines against the void and the forgotten god

iirc, not sleeping causes some sort of toxin to build up in your brain. With enough practice, can alden use his decay to get rid of said toxin? it probably wont get rid of the need for sleep completely but it could be very useful

the title he received from the fruit was temporary. Since the fruit has been consumed, he probably lost it.
With the 2000th chapter being released, I feel it's an appropriate time to review this webnovel. What can I say, the fact that this novel went on for 2000 chapters and still dominating the number rankings should speak for itself. G3 spent sometime reading webnovels, then made what I consider to be a full loveletter to the medium. Shadow slave is something I picked up on a whim, and gave little to no thought before diving into it. And it became one of my favorite stories, not just webnovels, to ever exist. The writing has style and recognizable. G3 pumps out chapters from his basement everyday, and every volume is peak after peak, and Sunny showed more personality in the first 20 chapters than most webnovels do in 200, or beyond that. Some consider Shadow slave to be bad because it doesn't play into the "Overpowered male protagonist who conquers everyone and everything" trope, and I do admit that everyone has different tastes, but that is just wrong. If it was bad, it wouldn't have reached where it is today. All in all, I would encourage any webnovel readers to read it. And thanks to G3 for providing inspiration to this site and many fledgling webnovel authors like me. Recently, I have seen many novels that try to replicate G3's writing style. Whether or not they were successful is a different story, but it is nice to see that this novel is also beloved by many.
