Is there a legit female lead yet? I figured there would be one by now since at 650+ but the author is moving at the pace of a slug introducing one.
Again why does he fail to trust his family? They have done nothing to make him so secretive. Someone make it make sense
Things I like about this novel - The MC who I consider not too smart or absurdly dumb. He may be in the body of a kid but he doesn’t act like a kid thankfully - I’m only 150 chapters in but I like his first tamed beast a mantis. It’s a nice change from other taming stories since he can only tame insects. - the author also did a nice job preventing wording or grammar issues. Also the dialogue doesn’t seem robotic or forced like some other stories I tried. Dislikes - one of my major gripes with this story is his prolonged young age which is in the 8-9 range. It makes the story feel like it’s dragging for no reason and also makes the physical training seem almost pointless with no real growth. - Next what is the point of the intelligence stat? He has a naturally high one but since tamers are unable to use their beast’s skills the author hasn’t shown any magic or skills humans can use it looks like a waste. - this goes along with his age but it sucks waiting on the character to be able to stand by his matis and not behind. I’ve made it almost halfway through the available chapters and the mc has gained nothing other than stat points. Where are the magic and skills for humans. There are knights in the story they gotta have skills right? It would nice if the author expanded on this. I can’t be the only one who wants a strong mc. - what is the point of the elements. It is said that tamers can only have beast that fit their element, but if that’s the case what is the point? Will tamers be able to use the element at some point? It doesn’t really make sense to me that someone can have a certain element just for show.
Add what point does is high intelligence no longer pointless. He not using magic and he can’t use his beasts skill so what is the point.
I’m sorta sick of this keo thing. Wish he would just go ahead and say he’s not the professor’s protege. It wouldn’t cause trouble at this point.
It was a good book mostly because Jason was a king commanding his own army slowly building a kingdom. The moment the author decided to turn him into a changeling this novel became pointless in my eyes. So dropped. Author if you wanted a twist kill a family member don’t change the best quality of the book.
I’m confused Mrs. Morrison has vendetta with a dead woman. Referring to his mom, but his mom is alive and the work together?
First review since I’ve read 50+ chapters. This novel is good with the kingdom building aspects of it being the best part. I like how the MC is building from the ground up starting with a small village. The thing this story is lacking is progression of the MC. I understand that his ability isn’t supposed to be a cheat, but the way time jumps around it seems like the ability turned a character with zero talent into an average character. He doesn’t need to blaze through all levels but struggling through the first level says a lot about what will likely be the excruciatingly slow progression of the MC. It doesn’t matter how strong his body is when he is weaker than those within his level his understanding of techniques is slower than a snail’s pace.
Where’s his new fire aura skill?
Will he still be this way when eventually interacts with his family again.
