Orchestrating all of these events as a Corrupted Saint with time on his side and blood on his hands is hard to say just how many fragments he's gotten...

That's true of the first two nightmares. However, as they follow the path of ascension, they weaken their ties to the waking world and solidify their foothold in the dream realm. Retaining their own bodies in the third nightmare breaks that "rule" of the spell. Instead, it's evolving to show that they and their relation to the dream realm are changing too.

I could see Sunny taking the role of Weaver in the 7th Nightmare. The entire Spell, being a crucible to create/find the one that would become his (Weaver) rebirth after all of the gods and daemons died fighting.
