CP_Strats5dCommentedthe books are really good, the first movie was fine, I didn't mind it. The 2nd movie though was atrocious
In my previous life when I was watching the movie, it gave me the feeling that the whole show was a parody or something similar. The second one was even worse than the first one. So I had no interest in the books at all. But recently Enid, and even Alex had read the books and said it was great, so I may check it out later on and see how different the movie actually was from the books.- CP_Strats8dPosted

An increased fire rate does not equal increased bullet velocity...

If Galladon asked to buy mercenary soldiers or fighting slaves from the Free States of Essos und increase the quantity of the standing army of House Tarth, they would highly likely all be wasted in the meet grinder the war of the seven kingdoms would become soon. Of course, they could strengthen their army and simply refuse large scale deployment during the upcoming war, but this would tarnish the glorious reputation House Tarth build up over the last few thousands of years. Renly died and Stannis invaded Kingslanding with the remaining stormlords in the show... unless it was different in the books then the author was wrong

the military is kinda useless in the mcu. did they ever actually do anything other than die in the first iron man movie?

so he was sent 27 years into the past but won't change the future? what's the point? he may aswell just have been sent to the end of the story if he won't change anything... oh I know I could do alot of good and save alot of lives but like you know, no. the whole point of him going to westros was to change the the world for the better, if he doesn't then he's just useless

yeah I don't understand the love of leather armour. chainmail over gambeson makes so much more sense

has a bunch of chapters on his patreon yet posts a word count chapter instead of just posting what he has... if you weren't greedy you'd probably have more people interested but to be honest your story is just copy pasted from the movies with slight changes and more unnecessary gore. it you really want people to pay money to your patreon start with writing something both unique and good. after your word chapter I dropped it, shameful and sad.
