Not only did it feel artificial, but the backstory to it feels primed and ready to generate unpleasant issues. "His mother knew she was a devil and was trying to live among the mundane - what killed her so easily?" - With a 'lost bloodline' like the Sabnock, the Satans are liable to dig too deep and uncover the lies. If the MC is an Atavism born of an unknowing half-breed, it's a different story.... Unless you're actually planning on the MC getting caught in lies or the whole political bs-line plot, then sidestepping it is better than leaving it as a potential future plot hole.... Political plots aren't generally fun though.

The stacking of power systems and tropes is starting to feel a bit bloated. The way the whole "oooh, I'm a Sabnock nao" is introduced to Sera feels forcibly inserted to the chapter with the immediate denial and just doesn't feel believable with how the MC goes about it... It would probably be more believable if the MC said "I dunno where this came from, but look what I can do!" rather than what feels like a forced lie.

Gotta admit, moderately disappointed the AU didn't mess with the order/locations the slayers appeared. With how the story was going, I'd have preferred Gajeel or Wendy over Natsu.

Authors too often pick a story where they can resolve the entire plot within the month, narrowing down the options too easily. I kinda hope it's randomized from a reduced list or something - We at least know it should be restricted to only anime, so no video games popping up.

Why do I automatically feel like the MC will get one of the "damaged" summons, like Jack the Ripper or Tamamo-no-Mae? They're still powerful no doubt, but... They're mentally scarred.

It's actually a really common misconception in the Chinese fanfics poking at x-men; they automatically apply Wuxia logic where having either telepathy or telekinesis means full psychic. His hoverchair just adds to the confusion... So odds are, this was influenced by that... Annoying.

-_- The fight against Siegfried is a really good example of why combining power systems is hard for an author to keep track of. I'll break the entire fight down into three words - "Zun Haal Viik". Even if that doesn't work - despite being literal reality bending words being used in a target rich environment with no reinforcement on the hold - then there are several other sets of words that would have shortened the fight exponentially. Instead, the MC kinda completely forgot about a major subset of his powers and fought as a complete musclehead against another musclehead... It's kinda disappointing to see a "jack" style character fight strength-vs-strength instead of strength-vs-weakness.
