Them judging his fashion sense is very funny to me. Would it have been better if it was a pink romper with sparkles?

They all cussed Alvin in their heads for two reasons. One, he was supposed to be stopping his master, but he wasn't doing anything. Two, his choice of clothing for Harold right now was bad as it seemed to make him appear scarier and darker.

hehe his name is Rager and he's raging

They both stopped walking when they saw Beth's father, Sir Rager, walking toward them. He looked angry. Susan turned to Williams and whispered, "Perhaps I should try to convince him that..."

    Harold?

The crowd gasped and horror filled their faces as they all wondered what the princess was doing. Madam Grace's face paled. She knew that if the King didn't kill her, Prince Harold would. Judging by the faces of the guests who had come with Prince Harold, she could tell they were also quite uncomfortable as they looked at Prince Harold and the Princess.

She stood up and looked around the hall for the first time. That was when she noticed the most handsome young man she had ever seen. She swallowed when she realized he was staring directly at her with his brilliant blue eyes, and seeing how he was dressed in golden attire, had a white hair with a crown on his head, she could only guess that he was the man she was getting married to.

    that's what I said! you're a smart man, Arlan!

"No one can be as desperate as me to tell her who she is to me. I wish to scream out my heart and declare that she's my mate, that she's always been the one for me," Arlan confessed. "But then what? Just as she accepted marrying me to fulfill her family's promises and reduce her guilt over their actions, she might accept me as her mate simply because I tell her she's my mate, to fulfil another of responsibility towards me."

I honestly love how the story is paced, and it's not lazy trope-stencil writing too!

He believed she would soon respond to him. Her emotions for him remained intact, and he was determined to make her confess, even if it meant waiting.

Guys if he just smacked the mate stuff in her face, it would stunt their progress. You can't blame him for wanting her to be sure she loves him out of her own free will before he tells her they're destined to each other. If he did tell her and then her heart thaws (as it inevitably will regardless), they will always wonder if it was them working through things or just her giving up because there's no other option. Let the story take them in a sincere reconciliation instead of a quick fix is what I personally think.

but great sentiment nonetheless, love to see it

Arlan sensed a surge of anger at the audacity of another man casting a longing gaze upon his wife, but he quickly reined in his emotions, choosing composure over recklessness. After all, she was unequivocally his, and there was no cause for concern. He refused to act impulsively and harm someone for whom she would shed tears. It was evident that this person held importance in her heart, and he was unwilling to hurt someone she cherished, even if it meant suppressing his own discomfort.

    She's on Auntie mode

Rayjin turned her attention to her uncles and then to her aunts. "Aunt Oriana, you are married now; the deity will bless you with a baby." She shifted her gaze to Miera's flat stomach. "Second aunt is not blessed yet as well. I am sad."

United, the royal couple stood as the king and queen spoke in harmony, "May the grace of this union serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who witness it. May your love stand as a testament to the enduring power of commitment, and may the threads of your lives intertwine to craft a tapestry woven with shared dreams and destinies."

I think he just wanted to end the Verner bloodline to keep the witch where she is

Oriana retreated a step, averted her gaze from his bloodshot, anger-filled eyes, and absorbed his next words. "The most helpful act you could perform now is to vanish from my sight indefinitely. Your family is the root of all this, my family's present circumstances, and now you claim to be my savior?" He seemed to have lost it, his icy voice ordered, "Get lost and never show up ever again."

no but also because he doesn't want the witch to get her hands on her and free herself. so it's not just to protect Oriana but also to literally protect everyone else

"Did I solicit your help?" Gritting his teeth, he cast a withering glare her way. "Are you even qualified to provide it?" His voice took on an icier tone. "You could have been of help by merely removing yourself from this place, yet that seems beyond your capacity. You profess your desire to assist me, but do you comprehend what would truly benefit me in this moment?"
