Along came a butterfly
I woke up with my head pounding, the lights fuzzy in my eyes as I squinted into the distance, I could hear a feint, high pitched buzzing in my ears, followed by the soft thump of the pounding headache. My mind was fuzzy and unfocused, but I could hear that there are voices around me, speaking softly, whispering, as if a plot was being laid within my presence. As my focus returned I could make out the surroundings, Wait, am I in a hospital? WHAT AM I DOING IN A HOSPITAL? "Excuse me, nurse!?" The hazel eyed nurse cut her conversation short, as she headed my way. "Where am I? What am I doing here? Where's my wife, my daughter?" The hazel eyed nurse looked at me as she laid me down: "Sir, you need to rest, you were in an awful accident. Please calm down." I followed her instruction as I saw I had no choice. "Sir the medication must still be active, you have been highly dosed with morpheein." I sat up in bed again. Something felt off about this place, I can't put my finger on it, but something was definitely off...
