The flight to Malta was quick. I had to circle around Sicily to avoid any encounters with the local wizards. We stayed close to the water to evade detection by Muggle technology. Thankfully, we didn't need to worry about ships, as our concealment spells worked perfectly.

It was fine, though. He wasn't here to make friends. He was here to learn magic because it was all that mattered. Once he graduated from Hogwarts and dealt with whatever problems would plague the world by then, he would meet others like him. All he needed to do was hold on.
