It's irritating when a new character pops up and he's like - I know this guy as well. Obviously if you have read the novel many times, it's a given. No need to explain it every time. I've read ORV which is similar in a sense. Almost all characters are known by the mc. but never even once he directly said that I know this guy. He just started introducing his background or her backstory. or done a vague foreshadowing what's gonna happen to this character. ... It's interesting that way. So, do you get what I'm saying here, mr. busybody? 🙄
