Still, I can't help to wonder what happened that night, when he first came back. from the previous chapters, this seems to be the first time they are connected after the long time apart from each other. some spoilers- don't read if you don't want to know, till the end it is not stated that Maxi is pregnant or will ever be. they just seems to ease into each other, and enjoy each other's company.

no where showed she actually went to clean herself and put on a new change of clothes. If I am not mistaken, monster blood spilled on her and then she got busy with helping the injured soldiers. then she was called to join the dinner
