Well, not permanently. They’d have backed up memories. The real question is what it means if two android bodies have the memories/mind of one android. Specifically, those being tortured and any new bodies their saves were uploaded into due to everyone thinking those androids were KIA.
"young hole"? She's not young at all, though. Not by women's biology. They're designed to burn bright and fast early in life to maximize the species' survival chance.
"An open mind is like a fortress with its gate unbarred and unguarded."
Wow, either she is one of those extremely rare women that matches a man's strength (likely, given the WCS and Legion wouldn't allow for egotist-coddling nonsense), or Creed is incredibly weak and pathetic. Or, he'd be punished for fighting back just because she's a woman.
What gives the impression he didn't ask for said reinforcements? If he was following orders, that's all there is to it. Being ordered to stay there is completely innocuous. How could he know or imagine he was being ordered to stay for the sake of what appears to be keeping him alive while the rest of his company was sacrificed?
No, that would be in the NieR Gestalt/Replicant timeline. The NieR: Automata timeline had someone with at least half a brain cell order the Replicants to gather the maso, put it into a special "Celebrant" android, and perform a ritual to send it back to Drakengard. The remaining maso was at a low enough level it was harmless but high enough it could still be used for magic. Each game/story is an indirect sequel to those before it, but not in the same timeline or are otherwise disjointed in some way. Humanity fought the aliens and as they took more loses than they could replace the natural way, they built more and more androids to fill the gaps until eventually all the humans had died fighting and the entire Army of Humanity were androids. At this point the androids' morale was crushed due to humanity's extinction.
Not a "piece" of information. Every scrap of humanity's knowledge and history is there. And given the trees of memories in NieR, it's safe to say all human memories past, present, and future are probably also stored in that server.
Until that issue is fixed, at least.
I never understood this lie about humans on the moon. All androids knew about the human server on the moon. It also contains the map of human DNA along with basically all other Earth life. That alone is already enough to fight for: humanity's future reconstruction. This makes the lie about the colony utterly pointless. Though, I guess pointless endeavors is one of the primary themes of the game.
Is he blind or stupid? They obviously are emotional and very human. The whole point, really, is that the androids ARE human. Just not made of flesh and blood. Well, not entirely. From some things they can do, it seems likely that there is some degree of human organic material in their make-up. Such as getting drunk, making tears, and given robotics tests using brain cells of things like rats, I suspect that their brains are essentially human brain-computer brain hybrids.
They weren't fighting each other or something like that. That's ridiculous. The WCS and Legion were still a massive, global threat at that time.
They ARE normal soldiers. Just maximizing on the element of surprise. With the training and equipment specifically to do so. They're not SPARTANs or something.
No it doesn’t. What you do is not related to Ddraig’s abilities in anyway and EVERYONE would know that. This idea needs to be removed. It fundamentally is not possible in DxD. The Boosted Gear has been around for how long? And you think the supernatural wouldn’t instantly know that the MC’s abilities very blatantly have no relation to it? That’s not possible. It is flat-out impossible for them to ever even consider it might be from the Boosted Gear. The very idea is so preposterous that it’s alien.
He didn’t use Ddraig as a scapegoat. He has no reason to think that Rias believed making freaking POTIONS is in any way connected to Ddraig. It would be a completey moronic leap in logic. More like a pretzel than a leap. Sure, she seems to have somehow come to that conclusion, but he had no reason to think she’s come up with something so dumb.
Women are easy to understand. They think by rationalization their feelings. The result of that rationalization is what they think. Regardless of however much it contradicts what they know or see or basic logic and reason. Combine that with the maturity of a five-year-old.
Doesn’t she control a nexus of leylines to keep them from exploding?
No, it absorbs things.
Nah, she’ll be an obedient good girl if you tell her not to break your stuff.
Fair enough.
Makes me think he might purposefully use himself as bait to destroy large numbers of enemy robots.
