The only thing he seems to think about is expanding his chakra pathways. Why doesn't he at least learn how to fight in a world as dangerous as Naruto? He spends six years doing almost nothing and then gets nearly manhandled by a six-year-old Sasuke. He is constantly obsessed with grinding, but with a skill that supposedly has vast knowledge of biology, why doesn't he try to collect valuable genetic material such as Uchiha, Senju, or even Ōtsutsuki DNA? The possibilities should be endless, yet he never explores any of them. On top of that, it feels like the author didn't plan the story properly. There are numerous inconsistencies throughout the plot, and the MC's personality is that of an immature, annoying brat, which makes him frustrating to read.
