the human arc by itself is already quite long by itself but this flaw is magnified greatly by the once in a blue moon frequency of updates, where the author updates one or twice a month at most if lucky and if not lucky it can take 3 to 4 months till the next updates so it makes the human arc seem way longer then it is, if the author was in his old update schedule of putting out a chapter once every two weeks the human arc would have probably ended long ago but with the pace we're at now I wouldn't be suprised if we're still at the human arc a year or two later assuming the author wouldn't drop the work by that time.
Really? I only see them being a bit suspicious of him do to his sudden rank up but he'd also be more respected as he surpassed Nadia, even if they think of experimenting with him the clan guardian wouldn't allow that to happen considering her personality.
The protagonist really changes his views quite fast he was first worried the elder would take vengeance but when the elder said he doesn't he starts getting arrogant having unreal expectations that he'd benefit from provoking the elder but then again starts getting reliefed that he didn't actually provoke the elder, the protagonist is quite inconsistent in his view.
