Most villainess are pitiful. They often tsundere, under a lot of pressure, spoilt, don't know better thanks to being spoilt, lacking love or have absent parents. Normally the MC is partly to blame for effectively cheating on their fiance. OK you don't love her? Well be man enough to break off the engagement first before di*king something else. However this villainess is just trash. A failure of a villainess. She's more of a feminist than a villainess

I mean on average the scariest thing a girl can do to you is accuse you of something. Like no average guy is scared of the average girl physically speaking. Rather in 2023 we're far more afraid of being accused of something. That's why I try my hardest to avoid getting into arguments or confrontations with women at work. Guys are fine as well after a few punch are thrown after a drunk night out you both get over it.

Average at best. Translation is abysmal. Characters are bots each doing their preprogrammed role. MC is the biggest retard of all. Absolutely stupid decisions are made by him sometimes. Is the meat I'm eating human meat really? Also author seemed determined to make a point. Normally a lot of readers are fine with death penalty at least in novels. Some people aren't. Author is one of those people. So instead of writing a normal execution scene of criminals. He wrote the most over the top, unrealistic garbage just to make even readers like me who are totally fine with executions feel sympathy... No nation in the history of the world took a public execution that far, privately sure. Their crimes were not read out prior to the execution, the women were naked and mutilated in public? As I said, this scene was written to force the reader to agree with execution bad rather than a realistic execution for this novels world. Based on what we know of the world, executions would happen publically, their crimes would be read out loud, the crowd would curse them, they would be hanged or beheaded. Then their bodies would be taken away (the world has churches so some respect for the dead would exist at least publically)

Only 2 groups of people deserve such a cruel death, mass murderers and serial rapists. I get the feeling that the 7 people executed earlier do not all fit into those 2 categories. Also there is no reason for the women to be naked. No reason to mutilate the dead bodies as that might damage the organs. As for the organ harvesting thing, well if its for transplants then I guess major criminals should at least make up for their crimes by doing some good. Willingly or not.

Honestly most rich young master irl have so many girls swirling around them that unless the normal girl they see is ridiculously good looking etc they have no interest in getting closer

I've got to say. As good as a plot device having arrogant young noble boys is, irl most rich young guys are (well the ones I've come across ) have been brought up relatively well, their main flaw so to speak possibly being women. Even then most of them will at least outwardly act politely, chivalrous and will rarely start a fight for no reason (unless it's about a girl). If you're unworthy of their attention they simply ignore you. It's young rich ladies that are often the headache. Often they've been spoilt, they look down on everything and everyone not part of their world, and are the main reason for any drama involving rich young teenagers. They often cause issues just because they're bored, will incentive the guys to fight or pick on someone for reasons, and unlike the average rich boy who mostly ignores people, will activately ensure that someone below them know that they're below them. If say its a classroom. The guy will either ignore the poor scholarship kid or a couple may even get along with him as he has a future. Bullying would only occur as a result of a prior issue. Normally anyway. Some bored rich Girls on the other hand actively gossip and seek out people to cause drama with. Well this is subjective as I don't know all rich young people. Also nobles in the past might not be similar at all. How would I know. Just feel like girls in novels are way to innocent.

On that note, would slavery be better for those dying kids (in some civilisations in the past, kids like that would sell themselves or be sold by their parents as slaves, increasing their likelihood of survival. Is it morally better to let the kids die, or make some of them work for. Clothes, food and lodging. Of course the better solution would be a well funded orphanage and educational facilities but whose paying for that in this world?
