I must be really tired, when author wrote "blink several times" I imagined lith having to tp around several times around yurial to get rid of his visions 😂 (yes, ik blinking isn't teleporting, but ykwim)

what mc says is fair, even if you know for sure by gut feeling or smth someone did the crime, you still gotta search for enough solid evidence first. and your gut feelings may be wrong, too plus in America at least, there's double jeopardy thing, so if not enough evidence is collected, murderers like oj Simpson could get away so easily (so glad he died)
