E/d note: I had a lot of fun describing the events that took place in the simulation as well as the changes that ensued for Luke! This was a relatively short chapter compared to the recent ones, but the MTL was just a bunch of repeating idioms that made no sense to the story whatsoever xD So I had to improvise. Next chapter should be out within the next 16hrs or so as I am about to head off to jalan raya! Until the update, thanks for reading, and if you've enjoyed this series so far, maybe i dont know, send me some cookies(power stones)??? You got it, the Uncle Ben part is a lot less forced, and if I may say so if I hadn't read the xing xong version and read this I wouldn't see traces of Chinese bs since you removed them (please do the romance part with Wanda calmly and without rushing, progress with good impressions and compliments until the part where one gives signals to the other and then something like the MC calling her to a Picnic and asking her to be his girlfriend, rushed romance is never good and with based on my experiences it doesn't last long or doesn't happen at all)

Hello my fellow takodachis! This is not a chapter update, but rather a story update! For old readers, this will be especially important for you!I have ret-conned chapters 05, 06 and 07 after some feedback about how I dealt with Wanda and the MC's backstory portion in chapter 06. And while I will still make this a Wandaship, I feel like I could have done better in setting the foundations for the romance. On the backstory, I fleshed it out further and TRIED my hardest to properly play out my vinland saga moment, though i'm not sure how well it turned out. And so, I have made some changes. For old reader's, I HOPE that the changes made the story better, and for the new readers, thanks for trying out my version of the MTL fanfic! Additionally, after reviewing the chapters, I added and removed a few more dialogues because when I checked the MTL, although they say a few things, these things always get ignored or just one statement commented on by the Chinese authors. I want to fix that. Please help me to point out any important points that I have missed out so that I can ret-con them and administer damage control. At this moment, only Chapters 05, 06 and 07 have been ret-conned. Additionally, I will be changing the name of the MC to "Luke Sullivan" from now on! In the end "Sunny" just felt like a weird name in the MCU. For this, I've already updated all the previous chapters. - Jandraken5dCommented
It will probably work since Wanda was only so assertive in her revenge because of Ultron and Hydra, if she finds out that whoever smuggled the bombs and weapons from Stark Enterprises to terrorists before all the manipulation she suffered would probably change her mind.

Now yes, I knew that this was all a story for the protagonist to manipulate Wanda and make her think so she wouldn't try to kill Stark or ally herself with Ultron, but it was done anyway now at least there's more depth to it, I know that is a reference to Vinland but Thorfinn already had a lot of blood on his hands and a lot of emotional attachment to Askelad to complete his revenge, the MC doesn't need to be a killer but killing some people sometimes prevents them from continuing to carry out massacres like the Scarecrow, Joker, Green Goblin and so on, in this aspect I hope the MC follows more the Captain America and Iron Man route of morality.

Nobody wants to believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and the Queen of England, now believing in an obviously suspicious bald guy and a clearly evil robot with red eyes is a good idea.
As Wanda read the diary, she had absolutely no idea what Luke was writing about initially, only that she was told by someone of how terrible S.H.I.E.L.D. was. If there was one thing that she did not like about Luke currently, it would be his wanting to get close to Tony Stark, the murderer of her parents. She had sworn to herself that she would avenge her parents, and the people currently 'overlooking her living arrangements' had promised to take care of her and her brother, and to give her the powers to do take her revenge when they were picked up after her parents' funeral.
