The character talks about how she has changed from her past self but her character and actions seem to remain the same throughout much of the plot. It would be interesting to see if other readers interpret the story development differently.

The characters and story became repetitive towards the end and the characters became shallow. The story’s characters and plot developed interestingly at first.

The character development starts out as interesting but later the characters become more superficial and more difficult to understand or identify with. I finished the story and don’t regret reading it.

This really hits home for me. Patience results from trials and it is not fun to learn to be long suffering, but we know it is necessary.

This book is written rather well. It has kept me hooked thus far. The female lead’s character is developing nicely. If the male lead’s character continues to develop this book will be a gem.

This book might end up being okay but the author needs to have some sort of editing done in order for the book to be enjoyable .This book is difficult to interpret. The pronouns are used so interchangeably that it is difficult to distinguish who is being talked about and who is doing the action. Quite a few sentences are nonsensical. I would be glad to read this book in the future if the author states that the book has been edited and retranslated and edited a second time.

Coward? She would be brave to face her fears and help prevent more violence. The cowardly person would be the child rapist. Victims have to face a lot of pain as well as prejudice as they come forward. Calling victims cowards for not being strong enough to protect others seems to be victim shaming?

A victim of rape or other violence should not be referred to as a coward. Coming forward can lead to a whole new set of humiliations. Society does not necessarily support or provide for the victim’s recovery. Rape victims may suffer from feeling impure or unwanted if others find out about what happened to them. Those who come forward are heroes who save others from suffering from similar harm. Rape victims do not “owe” society anything. Until society can change their treatment and attitudes towards victims of this type of abuse, don’t judge those individuals who have endured this experience and are unprepared or unable to sacrifice or give back to the community after their suffering. It takes time to heal. Don’t add to their misery. If you want cooperation then provide the support. It might be listening. It might be installing new locks or helping them cook or taking them out so that they can leave their house without as much fear. Name calling is convenient, but it doesn’t solve anyone’s problems.
