This is late but why does everyone want him to get married. He is 16 or 17 and he is mostly training. When will he have time for that? Plus with higher realm giving longer lifespans there is plenty of time for a wife. There is not need for the first female he see to be his wif . There is nothing likable about her. I still don’t understand those looks that causes shivers down your back. Why do people keep wanting relationships like they are on earth? Just look at his parents they haven’t seen each other in years. Getting into a relationship slows down cultivation. Do you ever see those old monsters with a powerful wife and kids

What? the second part doesn’t make sense. When did it say that Dao fruit he got from a game could give his wives immortality? The author can’t even tell us who tried to assassin him.

Why is he just ignoring manipulation? Is that why everyone gets called family names like uncle and aunt, big brother or sister. An indoctrinated manipulation to honor them so he feels obligated to what he was told.

Isn’t he over sharing. Where is the peanut gallery in the back ground giving one side commentary. I guess isn’t a normal cultivation novel. There has not been any overly negative reaction in this novel.

It might be a cultural thing. Where you have to listen to the person that is above you in the hierarchy. Like when you are calling everyone one uncle. So when they need you to do something you are more likely to do it because you will feel like it’s disrespectful not to. This might be a bad example. It might be a a writing device to force plot. Like when the protagonist save a female character and he takes her home. The woman’s father rewards him and then he is getting married in a month. The protagonist is trying to talk but the guy isn’t interested in listening. So the protagonist just walks away.

I wish the authors on the site would do better. I’m not an author and it seems hard. But it’s like these guy are plagiarizing each other. 😔

For being a orphan and a kid. Isn’t that guy an adult. Should the kid become a child soldier. I know the author is trying to show some tension because the mc journey was smooth sailing so far. Maybe this is a translation error. It guess in English he want the mc to step up and take care the family. As a third party this guy doesn’t really know the mc. Even though his calls him uncle. The mc is always training so what else is he supposed to do. What is the author doing the mc later in the chapter. The author seems like he is trying to make that girl a love interest. How is he going to take care of the family, train and deal with a girl friend. Not every story needs to have a romance.
