A stupid author can’t write a smart character

I should really stop even trying to read Cornbringer’s works. He’s too stupid to be a decent author.

Not great. The writing quality is poor, plot holes abound, and nothing really makes much sense. The main character is an idiot with absolutely ridiculous powers.

Needs a slice of life tag, and the Isekai tag removed – wholesome but boring. Extremely boring. Main character is not a transmigrator or reincarnator, just a slime. Raphael wants to give the slime the unique skills “predator” and “great sage” to the new red slime but Rimuru refuses (on the grounds that the new slime is “too young” or something), so they’re downgraded to awful nerfed versions of the same skills (“assimilation” and “guide”).
