Great story! Can't wait to read more! The only remark is I hope he expanda his magic repertoire and creature types. Even though take over magic is my favorite fairy tail magic, so far nothing truly innovative have been done with it!!

Why doesn't he absorb a beast with Regeneration?

He got over his wife pretty quickly!

The story is nice but a couple of things: his personality fluctuates a lot from nice person to "genocidal", plus I feel like he overshares all his findings with the fallen. I get wanting more resources but he should be a little more private! One other thing I feel like he always wants to complicate things, starting to use a star spell before even mastering the 4 elements is a bit of a stretch! I think he's at the age when he should be focusing on the basics (elemental, rune languages, alchemy, potions,... ) stuff that can help him enhance his magical foundation! He can also explore other avenues of gaining strength like rituals or magic weapons (while he is still weak). He can also think about reinventing NEN using touki as a base! Otherwise keep up the good work!

Is he OK? His ideals are getting more and more extreme by the chapter! The first couple of chapters he talks about wanting to save 4 fallen he barely knew because it was unfair they died and now he talks about killing a whole planet and turning himself into a living plague as if it were nothing! Is this some sort of consequence to his soul consumption?!

Soul corruption?! We've seen what that can do!

I always loved that magic! Although never saw it used!
