That is my point.....those aren't mechanical waves and hence don't rely on particles to transmit their information... sound waves and electromagnetic waves are different. Frequency isn't some unique quantity or characteristic that can be translated from one phenomena to another. Frequency is sound is bullsh*t because frequency ain't unique to sound it is a characteristic of anything that oscillates, it isn't anything in reality, it is an arbitrary quantity that is made up for theoretical know how. And now I know you don't actually know anything about it...so yeah I am wasting my energy here. Good bye

A frequency of A FREAKING Mechanical Wave doesn't carry forward there is nothing being transferred zero zip nada. There is nothing to carry any kind of information that a sound wave has.

It really doesn't, science really doesn't. I can't win an argument against a person who doesn't even know the basics of something and can only reiterate what they have heard and seen from a single isolated experiment with no prior knowledge about the subject.
