Mostly just his nature. Dragons in general, and Darganth especially so, are exetremely confident in their own power so don't really care how strong their partners are. Instead they care about how fun they are to be around as their long lives make boredom one of their greatest enemies.
Orders are subdivisions of the ranks, seperating each rank into three stages. Classes were originally just another word for ranks that I had added for variety, but I dropped it later on. Have now changed it in the chapters it was already used in to avoid confusion.
