I love to try and let my readers feel like they're talking or having a conversation with the characters
On my way to my mom I could hear my friends bickering. Mostly the girls in giving them a warning to behave themselves so they don't embarrass them too much. I snicker at that, it's going to be mighty hard trying to reign those boys in as it always was. Those three have a thing to do, something embarrassing or idiotic. Bunch of clowns they are, well hot clowns as Kayden would joke about it. Then again, my friends are damn hot either way you put it or see it. Kayden and Max would use their "hotness" to their advantage when it comes to girls. I swear they didn't need to utter a single word in order to get girls falling at their feet; humans and wolves alike. It's crazy. Super crazy.
