Sorry, I can’t promise I’ll continue this story. Just for you, I may upload one chapter in the next few days. But don’t expect daily releases. Maybe one day I will revive this story, though it might not be anytime soon.

I’ll write one tomorrow or the day after, and I’ll promise to do a 3 day daily release, trying to write one every other day. I do apologize for my lack of writing, but do appreciate you truly wanting to read my story. Thank you for your feedback. I will definitely try to make chapters longer. I just have a habit of writing for a bit, stopping, and having trouble starting again. In your opinion, would 1,000 word chapters be suitable to be sufficient for your needs as a daily release? For reference, this one was around 550 words.

As a reader, would you rather I had not uploaded this chapter today but instead tomorrow with around 500+ more words? Or would you rather I have released this half today? For me it’s to maintain a daily upload, but if you prefer longer chapters and a longer relesse date, I could start doing that.

I mainly do it to maintain a consistent upload schedule, as I could do mass releases every other week. But the reason some chapters are shorter than others (ranging 500-1500) is because of inspiration. While 500-1500 may seem small, I tend to experience burnout quite often which then makes me fall into a short of writng. Maybe after this novel gets contracted will I do a mass release of 10+ chapters but for now I’ll try my best to upload daily even if it’s lower in word count. I also do wholeheartedly agree that of course people read other books and will have a hard time retaining information. I’ll try to remention things more often if it helps at all.

Xue can’t obtain the connection to nature, while she may be able to practice nature qi, to the same connection as Meiying as the direct connection to the Grand World Foundation that the many previous queens possess was because of the blood of the royal elfs, descendants of the first queen, can achieve such a connection with nature. But as for the queen, who knows? Maybe there’s a reason she can’t achieve connection? (Which is why she was one of the few queens that never achieved connection) Maybe it’s also the reason her daughter Meiying is special? Or was it truly Shuyun that caused all of this? Or is the tree biased?

thank you for the review. I originally kept chapters short to maintain a consistent release schedule and at the start was uploading 2 chapters a day. You could expect longer chapters once the contract for this novel finalizes. At that point in time, chapters would be 1-2k depending.

Incase your interested, I added an extra description of the forest after rewriting apart of this chapter, if you were looking for more brazen detail. As I just updated it, you may have read the old version. Just wanted to let you know incase it may have seemed confusing or hard to imagine.

Hope you get your inspiration. I’ve been having the same problems, so I just start new novels for fresh Ideas. I get the same burnout when it comes to writing chapters so I decided on a 500-700 word chap release instead of the usual 1k+. This helps with consistency in daily uploads and also lightens the mental burden when thinking about plot.
