It's so full of suspense and nuanced & full-blown romance--i like it. Damien clearly has a soft spot for the servant girl, Abby, making there love affair a secret; a guilty pleasure even. Rex is so mysterious, i can't wait to see the true extent of his power. I can feel the suspense building with every chapter i finish. Your writing style is unique, CJ. It's refreshing. Keep it up.
