I think that this one is one of two which will have people accepting complete randomness (Highschool DxD). the other one is Fairy tail, which has all kinds of lost/ancient magic. ultimately it is up to you, so pick which ever makes you the happiest among either all of them or the popular choices

maybe a requirement for summons to be summoned is 100% loyalty to their summoner

I'm going to be honest, I don't think it is going to be a huge difference at this point to rewrite it. Also, like that one person said, rewrite it when you get burnt out on the story. Plus, you could say that it was everything he could think of att the time and that would make sense. One idea I have, is small Mechashift Guns for the Police Bots. Like Ruby's weapon in RWBY Anime looks somewhat like a skateboard without wheels when inactive, it can have the standby form, the gun form, and possibly a shield or barrier form when defending civilians from attacks. PS. Just consider my suggestion, this is your story and ultimately everything is up to you. regardless, this goes for everything I've said and not just the Mechashift weapon idea.

So far this is great, though I wonder if the two of them are going to form their own team or join the Avengers Initiative. though if they do form their own team, do the shadows count as workers? Thanks to Cortana he could easily reveal which ones in shield are Hydra or spies. plus she can potentially free those hypnotized as soldiers like Bucky, Steve's old friend . I just remembered the autobots, would they be allowed to join the team that they are in? Tony would probably be rather shocked. Just an idea, what happens if Mechashift Weapons are brought in?
