Gotta be one of the Best Anime / Novel stories i've seen! It deserves 5/5! The character development and the emotional parts of the story really hits you like a truck. I haven't finished the entire novel yet, but I am enjoying every part so far!
Read the light novel if you want Pictures.
ALSO I'd like to add something, Many people told me like "Hey, Kakashi isn't supposed to be like that, he's pretty laid-back etcetc" And hey, I get it, but hear me out why he actually takes action and isn't as Laid back in the Bandit Arc and the rest of the Arcs Kakashi, reincarnated as Rinko Schnee, sheds his laid-back persona due to Rinko's deeply flawed past and fractured family. Unlike in Konoha, where his genius allowed for indifference, the Schnee name’s tarnished legacy and strained relationships demand action. Driven by a desire to repair bonds, redeem Rinko’s reputation, and protect the world of Remnant from growing threats, Kakashi as Rinko takes a more proactive and emotionally engaged approach. His sense of duty, shaped by loss and experience, compels him to take accountability and ensure that this second chance is one of redemption, not complacency.
Fair
I always imagined Willow named their children, because of the W on their names, in this take, I kinda wanted for Jacques to name his child this time. "Nicholas Schnee (Willow's father) starts with an N, definitely W so I just thought of the name 'Rinko.' sounds cool enough to be a Schnee," I thought when writing the first chapter.
Hey, I totally understand where you’re coming from—Kakashi, as we know him in Naruto, is a seasoned and authoritative figure with a wealth of experience. However, my goal with this story was to explore what happens when such a person is stripped of their familiar world, abilities, and authority. In this take, Kakashi is reincarnated into the body of Rinko Schnee—a person with his own history, weaknesses, and unresolved issues. Kakashi finds himself in a world where he isn’t the Hokage, but instead a flawed individual with a tarnished reputation and strained relationships. This creates a narrative where he must adapt, rebuild, and use his experience in ways that don’t solely rely on his skills as a ninja or leader. While Kakashi’s core traits like his intelligence, adaptability, and introspection remain intact, the story focuses on how he navigates a life filled with emotional and social challenges that he wasn’t necessarily trained for in his previous life. It’s a deliberate choice to highlight a different kind of growth—one that blends Kakashi’s identity with the baggage and potential of Rinko Schnee. That said, I appreciate your critique, as it reminds me to ensure Kakashi’s personality and essence shine through, even in this very different setting.
