Da Gong paced around the room irritably, occasionally raise his wings aggressively and clucking fiercely at the humans like an angry CEO at an emergency company meeting reprimanding his incompetent board members. Ye Cheng tried again to soothe the angry bird but was rebuffed with a powerful flick of the wing. This was a really good book with some of the best hooks and tie-ins I've ever read. It was a bit of a nightmare watching Jie Fu Lian and Hua Tianshu beat around the bush for three quarters of the book, but it was also greatly entertaining. They also had other stuff going on, so it wasn't as insufferable as some other books make it. This really is a great book if you give it a chance, thank you for writing it author :)
