Yeah, I completely agree lmao. This is just going to be something I write for fun, but realistically, it's mostly going to be Gilgamesh stomping the verse with Sha Naqba Imuru. Which can still be somewhat entertaining since Gil's personality is more in line with Koenji, and you don't really get that type of MC in COTE fics. (I will still fail my cooking)
I'm aware. But this is the Re:Zero world, not to mention that he was born in the Oni village no less. Japanese names typically aren't part of the culture, so he wouldn't be named Satoru. Even then you have names like Rem, Ram Rom, etc... Since people in the Oni village don't have last names, I found it more fit to have his name simply be "Gojo" as it was more in line with the naming sense of the Re:Zero world.
Thanks! I haven't decided on romance yet, no. I'm not exactly sure if I'm willing to have romance if it doesn't fit with Gojo's personality. Because of the mental age gap, I'm doubtful he could even have feelings for people his age. Feel free to give me your opinion though, I'm open to ideas.
We win these!
Feels like Overlord would fit the bill.
You did great, thanks for the chapter!
I don't think it blocks everything since otherwise, Gojo wouldn't have air or light to see. But he filter things out manually, contrary to the automatic filter which is done automatically. If someone threw poison at Gojo's Automatic Infinity when he just started training it, then because of its complex structure it would be difficult to filter it. But when Gojo does it manually, it's not so much of a problem since Gojo would be aware that poison is approaching him, and would block it since he deems it dangerous. The same applies with dust, if it came down to the automatic use, I could see dust bypassing Infinity. But in this context, he was in a fight- So he would obviously deem dust to be dangerous and block it regardless of its complexion.
Infinity doesn't work like that though. Gojo's infinity creates infinite amounts of finite space by essentially dividing space. He doesn't have to understand what is approaching him to block it, it's not like Accelerator's Vector manipulation. I think you're confusing it with the scene in which he explains the automatic targetting option he created for infinity after he figured out how to keep RCT on to preserve his brain 24/7. In that scene, Gojo explains how his automatic use of infinity filters out things based on mass, speed and shape to distinguish the danger of the object. Because poisonous objects are more complex to filter, young Gojo couldn't yet do it when explained how it worked. This only applies to the automatic use of infinity however, as he doesn't really have any problems blocking things when doing it manually. Things he deems obviously dangerous, like Dust in this scenario that he perceives as an attack, simply wouldn't get past infinity. (Also since this is Gojo before he obtains RCT, he shouldn't have the automatic filter. Not that I'm saying he has it, just providing information >.>)
Same question, and same answer! You're doing a fantastic job, glad we've got something of this quality coming out for free tbh. Thank you for your time and effort!
Perfect, as always.
Yes, it was consistent in quality. I actually enjoyed this chapter a bit more than usual- and that's saying something considering that I love your writing. Incredibly done! Stand proud author, you can cook.
