You’d think he’s had enough of dreadful secrets…
Right?! Catching the sword would be the best conclusion!
I hope Sunny loses the duel by grabbing her sword or something and holding it in place, causing a scratch to form on his gauntlet. It would be a way for Nephis to see that Shadow is better than her at swordsmanship, and that Valor won him over due to their good luck! It would also be a bit funny to see.
Maybe. Though, I’m hoping that Nephis just plateaued in her swordsmanship after thinking she probably couldn’t make any more meaningful progress. It would make sense given her prideful nature, and she also wouldn’t remember that she had a rival, so her motivation for improving might have stagnated. Morgan certainly isn’t her match if she couldn’t even beat Mordret, so it would make sense for her to just think she’s at the peak.
Did Sunny realize he was that much farther ahead? Or did she pull out some bs again and somehow manage to keep up/surpass Shadow Dance after Sunny’s been practicing it for close to a decade? Please let it be the former…
Can’t wait to see Haughty Shadow with Weaver’s mask on fight Nephis. Which will probably happen, hopefully! If only a duel of swordsmanship.
No way Effie is saying this in her head… right?
I wonder how long Sunny will have to cultivate to reach that level?
I hope he finally has some semblance of a break after all that. A nice cup of coffee would do him nicely!
Winter Beast round 2…
[Fateless] attribute incoming!
Be careful what you wish for…
I don’t know. Maybe! I forgot.
Could be Winter Beast’s former home. Maybe. I don’t see why that thing would ever need a home though, considering it flies around. The Defiled Cohort might have found a way to basically force a creature similar to Winter Beast to freeze everything over—it could’ve also just been the actual Winter Beast that was forced into the labor.
You never know with Mirrorgoat, right! Right? Right.
going from street urchin to carrier of a daemons legacy is even more crazy
almost like destroying predetermined theories isn’t this novels bread and butter
