Yep Americans are not used to losing men even though strategically it would be a good trade off in macro terms but would be career suicide for any politician advocating for it when the body bags come home.( but they would probably get locked down for decades like afghanistan or maybe not seeing as persians are actually educated people and not a clan/tribal society that is not used to a modern government)

How long will mc live, he could probably live a long life of at least 70+ years with exercise and modern knowledge, that is if it doesn’t get seriously injured (which is probably going to happen with his lifestyle). Alot of people at that time just died from stupid shit that could have been prevented by basic cleanliness and modern medical knowledge about infection and disease.
