I had more to say, but it was a long enough comment as is. And yes, poor Bella. I was actually in a similar situation back when I first met my husband. And I know how the type of situation can break relationships between people we care about. It's been over 20 years, and those relationships still haven't fully healed. That's why I was compelled to reply. You are a great author. Even though I'm late to the party❤️

Richard, for the most part, I think is a good guy, but his choices are not the best and will end up hurting himself and others he cares about in the long run. Richard talks about letting Livia make the choice, but he is withholding the whole truth from her. In my opinion, not telling her the whole truth is just as bad as lying. Relationships are built on trust, honesty, and communication. Right now, their relationship does not have any of that. If I was in Livia's shoes, I would feel like he was manipulating me so he could get what he wanted, not what I wanted. The trust would be broken. I would start questioning everything about the relationship, wondering what else he had not told me. Trust broken is a hard thing to fix. Especially if she finds out from someone else. He has already betrayed his friend. If I were Livia, I would feel awful knowing he betrayed his best friend all for the sake of having me. If Richard was as good of a friend as he claims he is, how is he going to feel if Henry becomes the very thing everyone thinks Henry is because of his betrayal. Is it going to affect him if he completely loses his friendship with Henry? I feel bad for Henry. It is lonely at the top. You never know who to trust or who is trying to manipulate you. So your close circle of friends is small. To just lose your son, then have who you thought was your best friend betray you like that can brake something inside you. Even more when he finds out his son is murdered. How is he going to feel knowing he slept with his son's murderer? At least I'm hoping he finds out the truth about his son's death. Poor Lionel. He's stuck in the middle of all of this.

But she wasn't marked by her ex-husband. I'm guessing the mark she has was from him. Just my guess. What holds more weight, a mark or marriage? I'm waiting to see who marked her and the circumstances behind it since she thought it was her husband.

After seeing the verbal confirmation between Vee, Val, and Bianca, I thought it would be interesting to see Vee and Bianca fight each other. Not have Bianca hide behind her schemes. To strip that perfect Vitale persona. But then I thought Vee was pregnant so that sinario wouldn't work. But now... If Vee were to go after retribution, I would kinda like to see Luca be in Vee shoes and become her light and bring her back like she did for him. I'm huge fan of good guys not so good and bad guys not so bad. I'm sad to lose Nonni and Vee's baby.

Curious to see how Ruelle and Carline's reunion will be, especially after Caroline sat there and watched while their parents severed ties with Ruelle. I hope Ruelle stands her ground!

My guess is Ophelia. If a villain is shifting to being good, then to maintain balance, someone who is good will need to shift to replace the villain. It's been stated a couple of times that she notices everything. First, she is with Caelen. Then, she takes Eris place as mother to Rael (practically). Then, she talks with Soren when he shows interest in Eris. I think she manipulates with kindness. Either it's out of jealousy or revenge or a bit of both. ❤️ the storyline so far. Got to love Orrian!

I used to think parents who gave up their child for adoption meant they didn't want their child. I think this is such a big misconception for adoption. At least for some parents. Until I knew someone who gave up their child for adoption. They shared their story and how if their child stayed, their child would have suffered. They loved them so much that they gave them up for a chance at a better life. Now I'm a mother of 3, and it would have to be a big act of sacrifice for me to walk away. To give them a better shot at a better life. At least, this is what this chapter made me think about. I couldn't help but get teary-eyed for this chapter. Powerful.
