Damien being too touchy

This book is very good, other than occasional grammatical errors, I have no other problems with it. But if you want to read this book because it's genre is Historical Romance, I don't think the book is for you. Romance is really really nonexistent and the two main leads barely meet eachother. Although after 1000 chapters I can see that the ML cares alot about the FL, I can't say the same for the FL. She is pretty neutral with him honestly, and although we can see she feels something towards him, she almost never acts on those feelings. I don't know how things will change after they get married, though. I am hoping for them to grow closer when the time comes rather than the ML always being on the frontlines while the FL works in the shadows while the ML is ignorant about her doings. The wars and fights are written pretty well though, good job Author.

I am sure that without Rex, the romance development would be atleast 3 times slower

Can I ask the author if the story is a harem/love triangle or 1ML and 1FL romance? I hate harems
