There is one ML who comes to understand Kei Yun earlier than the other two. He'll also be the one to understand Kei Yun deeper both mentally and emotionally. I wanted it to be a dynamic where they all get to learn from each other and have growth. The general turning points are not written yet but laid out for the story. So I already have a certain idea in mind. The romance in the story is dark romance, it'll be present throughout the story but it won't just be the story. It'll stay true to its revenge main plot. The romance is a sub plot. There's mystery behind Kei Yun's death ect... To add the relationship between the MLs is something I want to match with Kei Yun core character. Like for example, traditionally in BL it often features the cold, powerful or Playboy MLS who's emotionally unavailable until the MC folds first, then suffers, having a lot of Angst in their Arc then finally wins his affection? Kei Yun doesn't fit that aesthetic. It'll be quite the opposite. But not so much that he's incapable of loving or falling in love. I have to find a nice balance where he doesn't come off as stiff like a brick wall or one dimensional. I love these types of questions. Ask away if you're curious about anything else.

When creating each ML, I wanted each male to challenge Kei Yun in a way that fits Kei Yun's dynamic and character. Throughout the story you'll find that each ML bounces off Kei Yun and is able to give him a piece of something that he's missing. Liam's Archetype character is the charismatic playboy, who is playful and fun. Unlike the other MLs Liam's character allows Kei Yun a breath of fresh air, a relationship of equals. Full of banter and challenge cat and mouse games, while also keeping both grounded. Liam is a representative of fun, wittiness and freedom. One of the other MLs will be, order, intellect, warmth and principles. And the last one, pure chaos, thrill, and deadly attraction. Forcing Kei Yun to face himself and the parts he refuses to acknowledge. When making Kei Yun's character, I had in mind a main character that's resilient, hardened by life, independent and resourceful. He's pragmatic, realistic, and has dry/dark humor for ironic situations. But under that is a person who does care and can empathize or sympathize with people. But morally he's in a grey area. All the MLs challenge Kei Yun and Kei Yun challenges them. This was a good question, I hope I answered it equally as good.

It's too early in the story to make a full review. But so far I really do like this novel. Tiny bit of grammer era here and there but nonetheless the story is good. And if continues I have a feeling that it'll become one of my favorites. [img=recommend]
