Vaccine is introducing dead or weakened viruses/cells into the body to make the immune system learn how to fight the disease, won't help if the virus is already in the body. It's one of my biggest gripes in movies where they mistake antidote for vaccines

I don't think a vaccine is going to help if everyone already has the virus, you'd need to make a cure/antivirus.
