I imagine inhibition dome is more effective at neutralizing abilities that are constantly active (internal inertial gravity and subtle terrain domination for instance) than abilities that are activated and then launched instantly (bone melting artillery and biome bombs for instance)

I'd say it's less a counter to his human form and a counter to brangara when he's not using any natures, mystic humans can't use the natures of their pranic beasts, much like brangara in his base form, but virala outclasses him in physical strength meaning he needs to use up some of his nature's to deal with him properly
