Tbh, this novel surpassed my expectations. After observing many similarities to many big name novels, I thought it was a copy-paste, but now I can say I'm glad I stuck with it. The world building is actually very well done and the way Frey's struggles are conveyed touches the heart. I look forward to seeing this through to the end
