At first I wanted a dragon empress as the wife but now after reading this far I think there's no one more suitable to be with Rey than Esme, I feel like she was made just for him!! she'll either be his waifu, or she'll confront him as a great adversary in the later parts of the story.

for example it was mentioned that Asura did hide all the documents on the table except the very complex one that he made with here in his past life assuming she won't understand it, but those documents are a prime evidence that he has memories of his past life yet in a later paragraph Verana thinks to herself that Asura has lost his memories this's contradictory. Unless she meant that he lost the good memories and retained only the bad ones.
