well yeah it is dumb to reveal your weapons powers and effects but how else is the Mc supposed to stack points and reputation? if kisame had kept quite about it and won the fight and the konoha ninjas took asuma away to try and heal him they'd be surprised that his injuries weren't recovering but they'd just be speculating on why it was happening and even if someone figured out it was the sword that did it the Mc probably wouldn't get as much points as he would by kisame doing this because until they confirm that it was the sword it would just be speculation but I do agree revealing all that out in the open is stupid

I really want the Mc to win like I know that he'll obviously face challenges and stuff but he definitely got a lot of that with the nomu at the usj and I don't want bakugou to win either
