Why the contradiction? in the beginning the author said that that was the last kingdom where humanity lives. Then the kingdom gets destroyed and heās the only one that survived hence being the only human and now heās saying that many humans fell under the claws of the monsters after the kingdom was destroyed and humanity wiped out??
