No, you were correct. The God of the Bible had done nothing for Damian personally and so Damian had no reason to thank him. In truth, his gratitude is directed less toward a specific being or entity but instead to just remind himself of his blessings.
His brother in law as in Wulin's brother in law.
I vaguely remember something along those lines but I hadn't intended for that be the case at all. It does make for a good similarity though so it works out well.
Due to bloodline things, more specifically his annihilation, his hair and eyes are red. I envision him as the cover or more specifically vaguely similar to Enryu from TOG but you can see him however you want.
It'll take quite a while to actually explain that since I've only recently explained of it at around chapter 80.
Mu Xi is actually quite important since she can act as something akin to a second defense. If Wulin isn't there or can't supply the group with precious metals, then she can. More than that though, Mu Xi is a strong and talented combatant and could work wonderfully as an excuse. Wulin has no intention of publicizing his growth so when the group suddenly has something they shouldn't it would be easy to push the blame onto the daughter of Mu Chen wouldn't it?
That's true and why he ultimately decided not to do so. However, it is important to remember that DxD isn't exactly an easy world to live in. It may have seemed easy with Issei growing so fast, but I'd imagine that growing to the extent that you can rival gods that are thousands of years old would be difficult. Overall, the world of DxD has a lot of dangerous aspects especially in the later half.
This is my original work.
Nope though I will admit this background isn't very original. It's quite likely that it can be found in plenty of anime.
Appearance wise pretty much
It sounds quite cheesy to say but Wulin is a growing character. He is, in many ways, akin to a newborn. He takes in the actions of those around them and learns at a rapid pace and the most obvious showing of that would be his emotional development. Of course, if it isn't your cup of tea then no number of words can make you change your mind.
I think it's entirely a matter of perspective, but I do agree with you. From the side of Tang San, it was either the Spirit Hall fall or he and his friends and family live his life a criminal being hunted down. Besides that, I'm pretty sure the Spirit Hall wasn't entirely 'good' either seeing how corrupt the officials such as Qian Xunji were.
By all means, he doesn't have one but that's irrelevant since his bloodline is the Golden Dragon King so that easily takes its place. So, no he doesn't have the Golden Dragon martial soul but instead the power of the Golden Dragon King which is leagues better for a multitude of reasons even if they are outwardly identical.
That's a mystery as of now. I've left clues but it's nothing major just yet.
It hasn't come into play in the yet but Damian is, in a way, protecting them. I don't quite remember how in detail I went into, but Damian has the ability to 'mark' people's souls like what he did with Rizevim. It's for that reason that Ingvild's soul didn't disappear and why he was aware of Rias' latent ability. Of course, he isn't absolutely sure about anything which is why he has people watching over the situation in his place.
Technically he could but he'd have to do it quickly. At least in this, devil souls quickly dissipate upon death so at this point if he did revive them it would just heal their bodies since their soul or mental abilities wouldn't be brought back.
It is a gamble however it is a fairly safe one. She grew up watching Mu Chen forge so she would at least have a good idea of what a saint ranked smith looks like. Considering Wulin's age, it's pretty much guaranteed he'll reach that rank.
