I think id feel the same in his situation, think about it, he was a regualr human just a few years ago just like all the rest of us.. i dont think id disregard people from my past to case some grand future while all alone.

part of me wants to see bruno accept all the princess, he certainly has the ability to. if he took all four of them as his mistresses and worked to lead all the imperialist powers towards properity in this new era would be a satisfying ending for this story.
