Man, you got me nervous about what’ll happen to rem 😭 Hopefully there’s a canon divergence Anyways, thank you for the chapter
Blud is already working on his future. What an inspiring young man 😭😭
Ey, watch him die on thé way back 😭
This type of reason would just cheapen the world and the story. Let the reason just be because they’re in the wild parts of the territory. Much more reasonable.
Air spirits sound a bit too weird and stiff. May I suggest replacing that name by simply Wind Spirits?
Beautiful chapter Author-nim. Keep up the good work.
The hero is indeed someone many would relate to, so I do understand where you’re coming from. Still you have to keep in mind, aside from the fact that this is a trial and that the people met here are most likely not real, Hero is a guard to a caravan that was guiding a bunch of slaves to who knows where. Enslaved people, put in chains and forced to walk even no matter how many died. In what world would a person associated to such a situation be good? Even if that is the case, who the hell would believe that? Many of us would want to trust Hero because he was kind. It is a humane response. Someone with the Mc’s upbringing, who is most likely used to getting hurt, betrayed and taken advantage of in the slums would not. That is also a humane response. Calling it cringe simply because your upbringing weren’t as harsh as the character is undeniably childish. Kudos to the author for being able to portray his character in such a way. I’m truly impressed.
That was not the optimal was to augment themselves author. If they experimented as you said, then it should’ve been Sunny: 4 shadows, 3 flammes Nephis: 4 flammes, 3 shadows. If you remember when they fought Dire Fang as Masters they were doing something similar. In the original novel, they had come to that conclusion back when Sunny was training Nephis in how to use essence.
Quiet the nice story I must say. There are some weak parts to it and when you take a step back you do realize that many outcomes haven’t changed that much from the original. Still since the story has yet to reach Antarctica I’ll hold my judgment on that for now. The MC is fun and the relationships and dialogues are good. Even funny at times! Sir Nephis had me crying 🤣🤣 Overall pretty good read. Also in case Author-nim ends up stumbling on this review I’ll go ahead and ask. Who the hell is the romance interest? 💀
One is a rat who crawled from who knows what sewer, the other is a noble who started training the day he walked. Do you see the problem here. No amount of potential is gonna bridge that gape. Not instantly, especially because they’re dormant. Also a useless aspect might triumph over a strong one, power comes from the wielder first.
