Although Konrad knew that it was safest to let his soldier lead, he still preferred to be in front and take the lead. Since he was now a general, how could he cowardly hide behind his soldiers? He must be the bravest and charge onwards towards danger! Of course, Konrad knew that wasn't what generals really did in real life. During modern wars, the generals would stay in the backlines and command the soldiers on the frontlines. In no circumstance would the generals be in any mortal danger, let alone lead a squad into enemy territory. However, this was a new world! Konrad was full of excitement and bravery and simply loved the feeling of holding a gun while exploring an alien, dangerous and new territory.
